William Dale McGehee

William “Bill” Dale McGehee, 81, passed away peacefully at Springfield, with his family by his side. He was born in Lawrence County, on Aug. 3, 1944, to Leslie and Myrtle (Kerr) McGehee.
In the years he served in the Army, he was a Green Beret. He loved to do woodworking, mainly refinishing furniture and collecting trains. He and Janice enjoyed going to sales and filling their flea market booth.
He is survived by loving family, Janice Bryant; Kirk Taylor, of Springfield; one step-granddaughter; and other extended family and friends.
