Zola Mae McDonald

Zola Mae McDonald was born in Livonia, to Charles and Martha Bagley. She passed away peacefully with family at her side at Republic Nursing Rehab. She experienced a lot in life and used these experiences to help others during their journey. She was married to Garland Howard McDonald on Oct. 18, 1945.
She is survived by her bother Dharl and his wife Judith Bagley of Ankeny, Iowa and sister Irene Lewis of Republic. She has multiple nieces, nephews, and extended family that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Howard in 2005. She had nine brothers and sisters that preceded her in death Juanita Crawford, Ima Cramer, Onah Toman, Charles Bagley, Clette Bagley, Ronald Bagley, Edward Bagley, and Darvin Bagley who passed as an infant.
McDonald was a homemaker, wife and she loved to make quilts. She did hand embroidery in her spare time. She survived breast cancer and COVID. She always had a smile when she got to see her great-great-nieces and nephews.
