Pearl Corbin, 93, of Ash Grove passed away, on Sunday, May 10, 2026. She was born on Nov. 1, 1932, in Greene County, to Merl and Lottie (Porter) Corbin.
Full of fire and determination, Betty was born Betty Mae Hicks on Oct. 3, 1932, to Carl Edward Hicks and Nellie Mae Goforth Hicks with 10 brothers and sisters.
She married William Leon DeRossett and bore William Lenard DeRossett, Sarah ReVae Bears, and David Lee DeRossett.
Larry Jess Day, 86, of Springfield passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born March 11, 1940, he was the youngest of 13 children born to Marshall Dewey and Clara Edith (Austin) Day.

Christian Ray Gaba, 19, of Brookline passed away on April 21, 2026, at Cox South Hospital. He was born to Jimmy Gaba and Dawn Comeau on May 12, 2006 in Springfield, where they continued to raise him through the years.
Danny “Fuzzy” Ross Parnell, 63, passed away on April 24, 2026, in Kansas City. He was born on Aug. 7, 1962, in Colusa, Calif., to Jerry and Joann Parnell.
