Ash Grove HTC dissolved, Lodge taking event reins

During the Nov. 1 Ash Grove Board of Aldermen meeting, local resident and Ash Grove Lodge member Justin Reidle announced that the downtown group Ash Grove HTC (Historic Town Committee), of which he had been a member, had been dissolved, and the group’s responsibilities overseeing the Ash Grove Christmas parade and Sparks in the Park were to be assumed by the Ash Grove Lodge #100.
Ash Grove Mayor Les Gardner said HTC’s demise was the result of a lack of local support, ending with only five members to carry the load.
