Ash Grove PTA makes big haul at carnival

Despite a cold snap throughout the day of March 30, the Ash Grove School PTA Carnival themed Around the World in 80 Days, enjoyed a successful turnout, and as important, brought in $14,000 for the cause. A portion of the money raised—$4,000—was given to teachers, classrooms and school clubs.
“We made a lot of changes this year including the location of the carnival and the structure of the event, but that did not hurt our success in the least bit,” said organizer Aimee Gerla. “We will be able to continue to support our amazing school district because of all the help from this great community.  Thank you for all your support and donations.”
