The 40-50 volunteers arrive daily from 7-8 a.m. to load eight school buses running routes to get food out to students who are home during the district’s wellness break. Above, Bois D’Arc Elementary Principal Dr. Karie Julian trucks a cart of food and milk to awaiting families who pick up directly.
