Ben Lile

Ben Lile, 48, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2026.

Whether at the farm, on a jobsite, or in the quiet moments at home, he embodied the spirit of adaptability and strength. He would be the man to give you the shirt off his back. A true jack of all trades, he could fix anything, build anything and lead anyone. 

He shared a deep and loving marriage with his wife, Jodi Lile. Together they recently purchased a new property and were incredibly excited about moving in and building their future there. 

He was a hero to his oldest son, Koty. And to quote his youngest son, Chewy, “He was a great dad!” He poured his heart into raising his children with the same intensity he brought to every other part of his life. 

He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his two grandchildren—one boy and one girl. 

He is survived by wife Jodi Lile; sons Koty Lile, Matthew, Dominik and Campbell Tackett; daughters Ashley Lile and Hannah Tackett; parents Carol Sue and Rex Capshaw, as well as Cheryl Lile; brothers Skip and Courtney Lile, Cody and Becky Lile and Nathan Lile. 

He was preceded by his father Larry Mack Lile.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at 640 Brown Springs Road, Marionville.
