Cherie Ann Hodge (Moss)

Cherie Ann Hodge (Moss), 75, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 22, 2025. She was born in Tulary, Calif. on Jan. 8, 1950, to Virginia Lee Moss and George Edgar “Doc” Moss. She married James Edward “Ed” Hodge on Jan. 19, 1974. They had two sons, James Aaron and James “Jim” Robert. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and doting grandmother.
She worked as a professional baker, restoring furniture, creating complex quilts, and much more.
She was preceded in death by an unborn child, her parents and sister Karen Magness. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Ed; brother John Moss (Gina); sons Aaron and Jim (Jill); daughter-in-law Candice Gant Hodge; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at New Life Baptist Church in Willard.
