DOROTHY LOIS (LOVE) CORNER

Dorothy Lois (Love) Corner, 99, of Republic passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born on Thursday, May 14, 1925; the daughter of Ben and Bertha Love of Diamond.
She graduated class valedictorian in 1944, from Diamond High School.
On Jan. 7, 1949 she married Bob Corner and together they had two sons, Randy and Kevin Corner. In 1957, they relocated to Republic and never left.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Republic for almost 62 years. She was a past CWF president, choir member and attended Sunday School faithfully until three months before she passed.  
She worked as a homemaker and bookkeeper for the business she shared with her husband and later took a position in the office at Tapjac Home Center in Republic.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Randy (Debbie) Corner and Kevin (Kerri) Corner; two grandchildren and their spouses; her church family, other relatives and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Viva and her brother, Ben.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 11, at Republic First Christian Church with Pastor Lee Young officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Republic.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
