DR. GARY BOYD ROBNETT

Dr. Gary Boyd Robnett (Buddy), 84, formerly of Walnut Grove passed away on Oct. 4, 2024, at Franciscan Hospice House in Tacoma. He was born in Walnut Grove on Jan. 23, 1940; the son of Boyd Curtis and Nellie (Burros) Robnett.
After attending Southwest Missouri State, he graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps. as the head flight surgeon of the 164th Aviation Group while serving in Vietnam. He completed his residency in radiology at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, Colo. and his final tour of duty was at Madigan Army Hospital. After his military career, he was the Chief of Radiology at American Lake Veterans Administration Hospital until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Inouye Griffin; his children: Monica  (Steve) Day, Diane (Craig) Clinard and Christopher Charles (Julie) Griffin; his sister, Carole Stone and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on  Saturday, April 5, at Eudora Baptist Church, Walnut Grove.
