Duncan remains Ash Grove R-4 board president, Willmon vice

Following the swearing in of incumbent board members Mike Gray and Jeana Scroggins at Monday night’s Ash Grove Board of Education meeting, the board voted to keep Bill Duncan as board president and Jeremy Willmon as vice president.
Also agreeing to offices were Jerry Morton as treasurer, Linlley Belker as secretary, Scroggins as Missouri School Boards Association delegate and Caleb Smith as an alternate delegate.
In action, in the absence of board member Matthew Hancock, the board voted 6-0 to:
- Accept a quote from Health Plan Management Group at a cost of $539.70 per full-time employee per month, an increase of five percent over the current rate.
- Purchase and build a greenhouse.
- Allow FFA members to take a trip to New York City; FBLA members to travel to Chicago for Nationals, and BETA members to travel to Nashville for Nationals.
- Renew a contract with MSBA as a policy service provider at a cost of $5,281.
