GERALD R. LITTLE

Gerald R. Little, 96, of Clever passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born in Clever on April 7, 1929; one of four children born to Emery and Emma (Williams) Little.
He graduated from Clever High School with the class of 1947, and that same year, on Aug. 22, he married Jaqueline Pope.
They had one daughter, Diana. He drove a propane truck for Wampler Propane for a little over 10 years. He then began farming, mostly cattle, and he continued until he was in his early 90s. He and his wife were lifetime members of Clever Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of almost 78 years, Jackie; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many special nieces, nephews, and other extended family and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: his daughter, Diana; his sisters, Velma Cox and Lucille Derrough; and his brother, Kenneth Little.
He was cremated and will be buried at a later date in Pope Cemetery.
