GERALDINE “JERRI” RUTH (RINCK) MEHL

Geraldine “Jerri” Ruth (Rinck) Mehl, 81, of Billings passed away on Jan. 31, 2025. She was born in Bruner on Jan. 24, 1944; the daughter of Harold Martin and Hester Louise (Vaughn) Rinck.
She graduated from Fordland High School and worked at Frisco/BNSF and at Riverside Inn in Ozark for many years cooking with her mother and sisters. She attended nursing school and worked as a CNA in local nursing homes. She joined the Catholic Church when she met her husband and served with the Ladies PCCW.
She is survived by her children and step-children: Ricky Allen Lawson, Pamela Marie (Jacob) Gideon, Sheila Ann Allen, Patricia “Trish” (Jody) Bramer, Teresa Amelia Mehl and Katherine Rose (Robert) Mehl-DeCarle; 10 grandchildren and their spouses; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Mike, Sr.; sisters: Wilda Lawson, Marjorie Williams, and Faye Jenks; brother, William Rinck; son, Joe Mehl, Jr. and grandson, Zachary Mehl.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Billings with burial after at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Meadors Funeral Home in Billings.
