GRACE CAROLINE (HANSEN) BROWN

Grace Caroline (Hansen) Brown, 100, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at Republic Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Springfield on July 14, 1924; the daughter of Nelson and Edna (Saunders) Hansen.
On Jan. 19, 1946, she married Euard Delbert Brown. They were married for 51 years when he passed away on May 10, 1997.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Ann (Tobie) Haden of Republic and son, James E. (Mary) Brown all of Republic; six granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian Ingalls officiating. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
