Jack “Greg” Gregory Willard

Jack “Greg” Gregory Willard, 77, of Willard passed away on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.  He was born Feb. 5, 1949, in Fort Scott, Kan. to Jack David and Glenna Faye (Hendrix) Willard. On Aug. 7, 1970, he and Sherry Hite were united in marriage and shared over 55 years together, before Sherry’s passing in November 2025.
He worked for BNSF for 36 years as a locomotive engineer, a job he took pride in and enjoyed.
He is survived by children, Matthew Willard and wife Katina, Mark Willard and wife Amy; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and one on the way; brother Paul Willard and wife Sharon; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack David and Glenna Faye (Hendrix) Willard; wife Sherry Willard; and sister Susie Willard.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield.
