Levada Jean (Scally) Nettles

Levada Jean (Scally) Nettles, 85, passed away on Jan. 4, 2026, at Willard Care Center in Willard.
She spent most of her life in Fordland and Aldrich, where she built a home centered on faith, family and unconditional love. She was the oldest of 16 children. She was preceded in death by husband Aubry Wilford Nettles.
She leaves behind her children, Edith McFall, of Bolivar; Kathy Glenn and Earl Suggs, of Fordland; Steve Nettles and his wife Angie, of Fordland; and Craig Nettles and his wife Vikki, of Stockton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, with four additional great-great-grandchildren on the way.
She was of the Christian faith.
Visitation was at 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, at Pitts Chapel in in Bolivar, with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. She was interred in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich.
