Man robs Republic Dollar General

A man robbed the Dollar General store in Republic on Sunday, Oct. 13 at around 7 p.m.
According to a statement provided by Lt. Jamie Burks of the Republic Police Department, the suspect is an unknown white male who stands about 5’ 8”.
Burks said the man took a small amount of cash, and then left in a black mid 1990’s Monte Carlo with tinted windows, driven by another unknown male. No weapons were involved in the robbery, and no one was injured.
A store manager who answered the phone at the Republic Dollar General declined to answer any questions about the robbery, citing company policy.
