Education: I am an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow. I have a bachelor’s degree from Drury University and I have completed four different police academies. In addition to inservice training and continuing education courses, I completed the University of Missouri Extension Leadership Ash Grove course and was a trained police negotiator.
Occupation: Though I don’t get paid in money, I would first say my primary job is that of a husband and father. Next would be Christian (that is a full-time job, as well). I am a retired Springfield Mo. police officer and my wife and I own Mama Loca’s Cafe.
Why should someone vote for you? First, people should get out and vote. I hope my actions over the last 10 years have earned the votes of the people that know me.  
For those that don’t, they should know I am an honest and fair man. Spending 19 years in law enforcement taught me to look at all sides and to think outside the box. It also taught me the importance of communication and conflict resolution.
I have the best interest of the town as a whole in my heart. In life I don’t just do what’s best for me or what I want. I still live by the Golden Rule, the Scout Oath and Law, as well other oaths I have taken as an adult.
