Willard’s store new in town, Republic’s store a relocation
Two new Domino’s locations are expected to open in both Republic and Willard this November.
The new locations are owned by franchisees Art Hurteau and Marty Prather.
“Art and Marty both started off as part-time delivery drivers with Domino’s in the 1970s and worked their way up,” said Dani Bulger, public relations program leader for Domino’s. “They became franchisees in 1981 and have been operating in southwest Missouri ever since.”
Bulger said the new location is being opened in Willard because the community is believed to be a good fit for the pizzeria.
“Willard is a growing community with a very large school system, making it a good fit for Domino’s business model,” Bulger said.
On the other, Bulger said, the new Domino’s in Republic will actually be a relocation of the current one already there.
“Art and Marty are relocating it because the business has outgrown the facility,” she said.
Bulger added that each location will provide customers with a variety of options to get their orders, including contactless carryout and delivery, carside delivery and a drive-thru window where customers can pick up carryout orders.
The new location in Republic is expected to create 10 new jobs, while the one in Willard is expected to create 30 to 40 new jobs. The Domino’s in Willard is located at 407 Walnut, and the new Domino’s location in Republic is at 491 Highway 60 East.
