Newly hired Burbridge takes reins as Republic city clerk

Laura Burbridge is the new city clerk of Republic. A Caruthersville native, Burbridge participated in her first Republic City Council meeting March 5. She replaces longtime clerk Brenda Jackson who retired. Turn to page 3 for the story.
