ORA CHRISTINE “CHRIS” (TRIPLETT) VANCE

Ora Christine “Chris” (Triplett) Vance, 89 of Walnut Grove passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born June 23, 1934, in Lockwood, to Charlie Triplett and Juanita Clabough.
She attended school in S. Greenfield. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Tabernacle.
On June 3, 1956, she married Ted Vance, they shared 65 years together. Together they raised seven children.
She is survived by her children, Tony Vance of Stockton, Jerrylyn (Larry) Morgan of Ash Grove, Trudy (Alan) Chaput of Walnut Grove and Anita (Richard) Smith of Walnut Grove; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren,18 great-great-grandchildren; her loving dog, Penny; sisters, Ethel Harrelson of Orange Cove, Calif. and Virgina Raymond of Greenfield; and other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted Vance; brothers, Donnie Tripplet, Bobby Clabough and Jimmy Clabough; son, Claude Vance; daughter-in-law, Deanna Vance; daughters, Kimmie Worthan and Judy Ward and son-in-law, Mike Ward.
Services will be held at a later date.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery.
