Peggy Lou Anderson Caldwell

Peggy Lou Anderson Caldwell was born on March 3, 1933 in Hurley. She passed away on Jan. 28, 2026, at the age of 92.
She was the youngest daughter of James Adam Anderson and Ella Ethel Sanders Anderson. She grew up in the small town she loved, alongside five siblings.
In the 1950s, Peggy met the love of her life, David Carver Caldwell (Dave). The young couple married on May 8, 1951.
Together, she and Dave shared nearly 75 years of adventure and love. They raised three children: Carol, Rebecca, and Daniel.
She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 75 years, David Carver Caldwell; her children, Rebecca Caldwell Warden and Daniel Caldwell (Brenda); her seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Adam Anderson and Ella Ethel Sanders Anderson; her daughter, Carol Diane Warden (Tim Warden, surviving); grandsons Christopher Lee Warden and Joseph Caldwell; and five siblings, Howard Anderson, Mary Boyd, Milfred Anderson, Ruby Clark, and Doris Barnett.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, with a visitation from 2-3 p.m.
