RBCW to offer $4,500 in scholarships

Traditional and non-traditional students in the Republic, Billings, and Clever area may be eligible for scholarships from the Republic Business and Community Women.
The RBCW Women Empowered Scholarships will be offered to women who are non-traditional students. Those starting school or completing school after working or starting a family, or those seeking education to change a career path, are eligible to apply. Send a message through Facebook or call Kathy at 732-7634 to obtain an application. Completed applications must be postmarked by March 22.
Both the RBCW Tri-Community Scholarship and the Billy Ray Halfacre Memorial Scholarship are for traditional graduating seniors, and are based on academic achievement, financial need, character, and community service.  The $500 Billy Ray Halfacre Memorial Scholarship is exclusively for a student planning to attend College of the Ozarks; the $1,000 Tri-Community scholarship is not school-specific. Interested students should check with their school counselors for application information and deadlines.
