RepMo’s Hurt, Brown named Mo. Outstanding Beginning Teachers

Two of Republic R-3’s standout teachers were recognized at the Republic Board of Education meeting on Monday, March 24. It was announced that Rylee Hurt and Sarah Brown have been named as Missouri Outstanding Beginning Teachers by the Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. According to a post on the District’s Facebook page, the two were chosen for the honor because of “their outstanding contributions and dedication to their students and the teaching profession.”
Hurt is a first-grade teacher at Lyon Elementary, and Brown teaches third grade at McCulloch.
