Republic High School singers named to All-State Choir honor

Republic High School’s Ariana Givens, left, has been cho- sen to the Missouri 2020 All-State Choir Soprano Section. Additionally, Kira Allen has been chosen as an alternate. Auditions took place Nov. 2 at Southwest Baptist University.
Only six sopranos from the district were selected. Giv- ens will attend the Missouri All-State Choir in January at the Missouri Music Educators Association Convention in Osage Beach. The singers rehearse for four days, and perform a concert at the event.
