RONALD ROBERT CAFOUREK

Ronald Robert Cafourek, 87, of Billings passed away on March 18, 2025. He was born in Austin, Minn. on Feb. 20, 1938, one of six children born to Robert and Ethel (Heimsness) Cafourek.
When he was 17 years old, he enlisted in the US Air Force and honorably served his country for four years. When he returned from his enlistment in the Air Force, he began working at Hill Air Force Base, specializing in instrument gauging. He also dabbled in real estate, having worked as a realtor at Haugland Real Estate and owning a Century 21 Real Estate in Austin, Minn. He was blessed with four children and then when he married Elizabeth, his family grew by another three children. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Billings for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children: Ronald Cafourek Jr, Aimee (Ken) Dimick, Weston (Sherri) Cafourek, Ultra (Don) Bakken, Toni Williams, Lester Shelburn and Tina (Randy) Roush; as well as numerous grand and great-grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Alvina.
Graveside services, with full military honors, were held on Friday, March 21, at Bellview Cemetery in Springfield.
