Sue Ann Howell

Sue Ann Howell (Beshears) 80, of Springfield passed away on April 1 2026. She was born to Charles (Max) and Gloria (Tillie) Beshears on Sept. 4, 1945 in Springfield. She graduated from Republic High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to Charlie Howell on May 19, 1963 in Republic at the First Christian Church. The couple was blessed with two children, Lisa and Brian.

Howell was preceded in death by her spouse, Charlie Howell; son Brian Howell, father, Charles (Max) Beshears; mother, Gloria (Tillie) Beshears, brother Jimmy Beshears and sister Kathi Hanafin. 

She is survived by daughter Lisa Gum, husband Van, a granddaughter, two great-grandsons, brother Kirk Beshears; and brother David and wife Linda Beshears.

A celebration of life was at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
