Willard's Veterans Day Celebration this Saturday

When: Saturday, Nov. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: Jackson Street Park at 222 W. Jackson St. in Willard
Willard's third annual Veterans Day Celebration kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with a parade, beginning at Willard High School. At 1:30 p.m. a flag retirement ceremony will be held at Jackson Street Park.
Throughout the entire day, folks may enjoy artisan vendors, music and veteran support groups. A chili cook off will also be held in the Willard Community Building. To enter into the competition, registration is $10. For folks who want to have a taste, the entrance fee is $5. For more information, contact Doug Johnson at 573-934-0377
