Republic R-3 School District lunch debt paid off by locals

Thanks to big hearts in the Republic community the lunch debt for the entire Republic School District was paid off last week during the district’s wellness break.
A total of more than $2,700 was scratched off the books following donations made by Inviktus Salon, The Black Lab Coffee Company, the Republic elementary and middle school parent teacher organizations, as well as other donors.
If classes resume this school year, which seems unlikely, it will be one less burden for the students and parents to
shoulder.
