Ash Grovians celebrate Arbor Day

The city of Ash Grove held a tree planting and ceremony the afternoon of Arbor Day, June 11, at Ash Grove City Park. Mayor Les Gardner read a proclamation honoring the day, which included a gathering of a dozen residents who were available for assistance in the planting of an Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry, on the west side of the Barham House.
