Republic Popeye’s officially opens

Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen officially opened its Republic location Dec. 28 to quite the reception. The store manager confirmed it was ‘very busy’ that day and the restaurant, located along U.S. Highway 60, is ‘definitely hiring.’ Although the newly minted fried chicken attraction is currently only drive through, the wait hasn’t seemed to slow business.
