BRUCE EDWARD MACKEY

Bruce Edward Mackey, 95, of Billings passed away on May 7, 2025. He was born in Marshfield on Oct. 30, 1929; the son of Virgil T. and Ruth Mackey.
He married Virginia Ann Harter on May 2, 1953. They were married for 65 years before she passed away on Dec. 16, 2018.
He was faithfully involved in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church as well as the Kitchen serving the needy. 
He is survived by his daughters;  Barbara (Mike) Nagle of Republic, Jeannie Mackey of Springfield and Shelly (John) Hutchison of Springfield: three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and family who never left his side.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; his parents; his brother, Ernest and sister, Mildred.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Billings. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery with full military honors.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Meadors Funeral Home in Billings.
