Bessie Lea Handley

Bessie Lea Handley, recently of Ash Grove, passed away July 17, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, one granddaughter, and one great-great grandson.  She is survived by two daughters, Christine Elaine Watts and her husband Troy of Ash Grove; Donna Jo Weter and her husband Frank of Springfield; sons, Rick Wilson and his wife Jeannie of Huntsville, Ark.; David Handley and his wife Joyce of Sevierville, Tenn.; Jessie Handley and his wife Linda of Hermitage; and Larry Handley and his wife Shirley of Fayetteville, Ark.  She is  also survived by great-grandson, Tyler Marsh, whom she raised from a baby into is late teens, and his wife Nacole of Springfield.  She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, plus great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed fishing, sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
