Karen Lynn Prichard

Karen Lynn Prichard, 75, of Ash Grove passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.  She was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Indianapolis, Ind. to William and Ireva (Smith) Oswald. On Sept. 6, 1980, Karen and Dell Prichard were united in marriage and shared over 45 years together.
She loved life and the people in it. She was always up for a good time—whether that meant a trip to the casino to play the slots, a night of cards with friends, or a Scrabble match that brought out her competitive streak. She enjoyed movie nights, days at the beach, and cooking for the people she loved.  No matter where she went, she made friends easily with her warm smile and complement of shoes. More than anything, she was proud of her children and adored her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.
She is survived by husband, Dell Prichard; daughters, Kelli Banks and husband Jeremy and Kimberly Vardaman; step-sons, Mark Patterson and Tony Prichard and wife Heather; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pam Ballard.  
Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The Humane Society or an Animal Shelter of your choice and may be left with the funeral home.
