Jessica Lynn Wilson

Jessica Lynn Wilson, 37, passed away on March 3, 2026. She was born Sept. 19, 1988, in Springfield, to Matthew Wilson and Janice Wilson (Edwards), making her the youngest of three children.

One of the greatest joys in her life was being near the water, something she inherited from her father. She was always up for a day of swimming and basking in the sun. 

She was only one semester away from obtaining her criminal justice degree. But nothing would have made her prouder than being the mother of her girls.

She could admit that she didn’t always get everything right, but daughters Madisyn and Ryder were beyond right. She was a doting mother, and in the end, it was the love she had for her family that truly defined her life. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Wilson; her grandparents, Albert and Ramona Wilson; her grandfather, Joe Edwards; and Madisyn’s father, Brent Hudson.

She is survived by her loving mother, Janice Wilson of Buffalo; her sister, Melissa Steimel of Willard; her brother, Matthew Wilson (Paula) of Republic; her beloved daughters, Madisyn Hudson and Ryder Wilson; her fiancé, Steven Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life was from 2-4 p.m. Saturday March 14, at Obannon Center, Buffalo. A private burial will be at a later date.
