Willard Speech & Debate earns second place in the nation

A small group of Willard Tigers attended the National Speech and Debate Association tournament in Dallas, Texas, last week. This tournament is the largest academic tournament in the world, with more than 1,000 schools attending from 10 countries. More than 225 students compete in each event.

FCS Financial stockholders elect directors, Bergmann on board

Through a mail and electronic ballot, the stockholders of FCS Financial elected four directors to the board. Elected by the cooperative’s member-owners    were incumbent Kenny Bergmann of Walnut Grove; incumbent Mark Pierce of Dekalb; Dale Ridder of Hermann, and David Wright of Emden.
