A Bois D’Arc man will spend one year and one day in federal prison for selling Chinese-made rifle scopes which he claimed to be made in America.
It was reported that James Bonis received the sentence on Wednesday, May 15, after pleading guilty to mail fraud and money laundering.

Members of the Ash Grove chapter of Girls on the Run wrapped up their 10-week program with a community impact project that benefitted Circle of Paws in Ash Grove. The 12 girls who made up the chapter managed to collect 13 bags of cat food, weighing a total of 56 pounds, over a week’s time.
