The Republic School District will be conducting the ROAR Run 5k on Saturday, May 4, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The race begins and ends at the football field located at the Republic Middle School (688 E. Hines) and features an ‘out-and-back style’ route to ensure the safety of all race participants.
Grant Williamson will be the new coach for Ash Grove High School boys varsity basketball during the 2019-20 school year. He is a 2017 graduate of College of the Ozarks, where he majored in K-12 physical education with a minor in coaching.
When Becky Keith was 15, she was asked to be the regular pianist for First Baptist of Ash Grove. This month, she celebrated 50 years of playing piano for the church.

The city of Republic is again offering a program for Republic residents to dispose of their old worn out items and junk. The city has contracted with Republic Services, a private contractor, to conduct the street-by-street curbside clean-up of various household items .
