Amber Rae Russell-Hardin

Amber Rae Russell-Hardin, of Springfield passed away, after a very brief illness, with her loving family by her side on Oct. 25, 2025. Amber had recently turned 55 years old. She was born on Oct. 18, 1970, in Springfield, to Kenny and Diana (Williamson) Russell.
She graduated from Republic High School with the class of 1989. She was blessed with a daughter, Chelsea, who was the light of her life. She worked as a business coordinator with Mediacom for the past 16 years. She loved swimming and spending time at the lake, singing and cruising up and down Kearney Street, a tradition from her teenage years, or simply spending time with her family and her friends. In 2019, she welcomed Michael Tipton into the family as her son-in-law. She is preceded in death by her mother, Diana, and an infant brother Christopher Andrew, and her loving fur-baby cat, Karma.
She is survived by her daughter Chelsea Tipton and husband Michael; father Kenny Russell; brother Shawn (Diana) Russell; nieces Ryleigh, Regan and Taylor Russell; as well as numerous friends whom she considered family.
A memorial visitation was for Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, from 11 am.m to noon, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A celebration of life followed at noon. She will be inturned beside her mother in Evergreen Cemetery following the celebration of life.
