Anne Hudgings

Anne Hudgings, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Nov. 24, 2021. She was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Springfield. She and her identical twin sister, Joan, were graduates of Parkview High School, class of 1957. Shortly after, the sisters attended Southwest Missouri State University together, before Hudgings married her husband, H.N. in the fall of 1961. The happy couple enjoyed the early years of marriage by traveling before they had two daughters, Joni and Leigh Anne. The family settled in Ash Grove, in the early 1980s where Hudgings lived the remainder of her life.
Hudgings was very active in Ash Grove Sunshine Center and enjoyed volunteering at church.
Hudgings is survived by her beloved husband H.N. of 61 years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters Joni (Johnny) and Leigh Anne (Jay), and a cherished grandmother to her three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. She was an aunt to Tommy, Trish, John and Bill and their children.
Hudgings is preceded in death by her parents and twin sister, Joan.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Saturday Nov. 27, 2021, at Ash Grove Cemetery.
