Ash Grove hoopster Gilliland signs to Mo. Valley

Surrounded by her parents and coaches, Ash Grove High School senior Brittany Gilliland signs her letter of intent to play basketball at Missouri Valley College. Gilliland signed her letter of intent at the AGHS library on Thursday, Oct. 14. The 18-year-old hoops standout will receive an athletic scholarship which will cover 97-percent of her college fees, with the remainder to be covered by her FAFSA. She plans to major in exercise science and become a physical therapist after she graduates from college.
