Ash Grove places 10 on all-conference baseball team

Pirates have 11 named to all-district team
 
With baseball season almost over, the Southwest Conference and Class 2, District 12 all-conference and all-district teams have been announced and Ash Grove fared quite well, placing 10 on the all-conference team and 11 on the all-district team.
    The Pirates had three players named to the SCA all-conference first team, with junior Brock Mooneyham named at pitcher, senior Billy Hatch at infielder and junior Parker Crow in the outfield.
    Six Ash Grove players were named to the second team, with sophomore Bryce Davis named at pitcher, junior Jonathon Rollhaus at catcher, junior Nate Trammell and Davis at infield and juniors Elijah Morrison and Tyler Tummons in the outfield.
    Sophomore Cooper Burks was placed on the honorable mention team as an infielder. Marionville senior Cale Clark was named the Player of the Year and Marionville coach Alex Weatherman was named the Coach of the Year.
    Ash Grove led all schools with 10 players being selected; followed by Pierce City and Stockton with eight, Diamond and Marionville with seven, Miller with five, Lockwood with four, Pleasant Hope with three and Sarcoxie with two.
    The Pirates had five players named to the Class 2, District all-district first team, with Hatch being named in the infield, Crow in the outfield, Mooneyham at pitcher, Rollhaus at catcher and Morrison at utility.
    Ash Grove also had five players named to the second team with Davis and Trammell being named at infield, Tummons in the outfield and Davis and Crow as pitcher.
    Burks made the team as an honorable mention in the infield.
    The Pirates led all schools with 11 selections; followed by Miller with seven, Marion C. Early and Skyline with six, Jasper with five and College Heights with four.
