Ash Grove R-4 makes staffing changes

During the closed session portion of the May 20 Ash Grove Board of Education meeting, many changes were made in regard to employment.

Leaving the district via resignation were Joe Woodruff and Tamra White. 

Many additions were made shortly thereafter, however, as Erin Kerns was hired as an elementary teacher for next school year, and Kelby McMillen was hired as varsity cheer coach. 

Also joining the ranks are Conner Kern, hired for grounds maintenance and Cheyanne Graves as a custodian.

It was also OK'd by the board to enter negotiations on the Yarnall property, although no details were given on that front.  

In the absence of board president Amanda Reece, board vice president Jordon Miller presided over the proceedings. Also absent for the evening was member Caleb Smith.
