AUSTIN JAY POWERS

Austin Jay Powers, 29, of Republic passed away Feb. 11, 2023. He was born in Springfield, Jan. 13, 1994, to Jay Powers and Ginger Woolf.
Powers worked as a long-haul truck driver. He had one son, Aundre Powers. Aundre would like everyone to know that he and his Dad loved to fish together, even winning a tournament, that his favorite color was orange and that they liked to go bowling and swimming together and that he was the best Dad ever.
Powers was baptized on March 30, 2021.
Powers is survived by his mother, Ginger Bell and her fiancé Bryan Baker of Arkansas; his father Jay Powers of Springfield, his son Aundre Powers; brothers Garrett and Jacob Shadwick; sister Jaylee Powers; maternal grandparents Terry and Vanessa Woolf and Patricia Campos; paternal grandmother Connie Powers, as well as other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life was at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
