Bobby Goodwyn

Bobby “Bob” Goodwyn, 75, of Willard passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019. He was born Sept. 27, 1944, in Almartha, to O’Dean and Velma (Wade) Goodwyn. On Feb. 5, 1972, Bob and Nancy (Wray) were united in marriage. They shared over 47 years together, growing in love for one another until the very end.
Goodwyn was a 1962 graduate of Gainesville High School and a graduate of Drury University. He was an entrepreneur at heart and owned several businesses throughout his life, primarily working with his dad and brother in Goodwyn Company Realty for over 40 years.
Goodwyn is survived by his wife, Nancy Goodwyn of Willard; daughter, Sherri Goodwyn of Minnesota; son, Justin Goodwyn and wife Jill of Wil- lard; son, Grady Goodwyn and wife Kelley of Willard; daughter, Wendy Beard and husband Scott of New Mexico; son, Tyler Goodwyn and wife Anna of Willard; brother, Ronnie “Ron” Goodwyn and wife Carylon of Wil- lard; 20 grandchildren, other family and many friends.
Goodwyn was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, from 2 p.m. to service time at Clear Creek Baptist Church, Springfield. Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., at the church, with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
