Coy Allen Cole

Coy Allen Cole was born on June 13, 1967, to Lila June Cole and Ronald Dwight Cole. Coy grew up in Republic, Missouri, and lived most of his life in the surrounding area.  Coy excelled in sports playing football for the Republic Tigers as a defensive lineman and holds school records for the number of sacs. He spent his summers hauling hay. After high school, Coy enlisted in the Marines where he was stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, and was able to travel the world to places including Japan, Australia, Italy, and France.
After the Military, Coy returned to the Springfield area where he worked in various places including Dayco, Roadway, Mid Am, Colonial Bread Company, and Kraft.  He also maintained a lawn business and was an excellent landscaper who took care of lawns all over Southwest Missouri over the years.
Coy was an avid outdoorsman.  He spent many weekends camping and hunting. He took up coon hunting in 1993 and spent many nights over the next years with his dogs and his hunting buddies. He loved to watch his beloved Cowboys and loved to watch western movies.
Coy was very quick witted, he could tell amazing stories, and he never met a stranger. He was very handy and had a big heart, which meant that he would help anyone with a project or work that needed to be done.  He will be sadly missed by his large family and friends.
