Dickie Lee Stander

Dickie (Dick) Lee Stander, 97, of Springfield passed away Aug. 20, 2022. He was born in St. Louis, on June 23, 1925, to Edward J. and Mildred (Gahr) Stander. On June 18, 1948, Dick and Francis Winnard were united in marriage and shared over 73 years together before Francis’ passing earlier this year.
Stander is preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaNelle Stander; and sisters, Betty and Patsy.  
He is survived by his son; George Stander; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-1:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Ash Grove Cemetery.
