Divers lead Republic at Southwest Missouri Swim Regionals

Republic diver Justice Murray finished third at the Southwest Missouri Swim and Dive Regionals, Saturday, and his brother, Dylan Murray, finished fifth. They were the top finishers for Republic at one of the biggest meets of their inaugural season.
Republic made the finals in two swimming events.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Bryce Martin finished 12th and Shael Wilson was 17th.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Dylan Murray, Easton Bruton, Martin, and Seth Lock finished 8th, with a time of 3:44.19. That was an improvement over their previous best time of more than three seconds, set during the preliminary round Fri- day. It was about 10 seconds better than their best time before the weekend started.
