During new business...
- The Show Me Courts system was discussed. Due to state man- date the city is now on the hook for a new system and programming for the courts and includes an automated court fee.
- The city’s contract with Simplified Online Communication System (SOCS) was discussed. SOCS hosts the city’s website and seeks a new contract with the city for its future services provided.
- The taking of mowing bids was announced. The city will soon ask for bids for the mowing of the Ash Grove City Park. The deadline for the bids is April 6.
- Trees at Ash Grove City
Park were also discussed.
Many of the trees died last
year, and will soon be replaced.
The cost for replacement may be
discounted however thanks to a
T.R.I.M. grant from the Missouri
Department of Conservation, that
has yet to be announced. Through
the cost-sharing grant, successful recipients receive up to 75 percent of the cost of replanting. Ash Grove received T.R.I.M. grant in 2008 and 2009.
