Edward “Vic” Brown

Edward “Vic” Brown, 69, of Republic, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on May 23, 1952, in Springfield, to Marion and Mary (Stuckey) Brown.
Brown was blessed with three children David, Kristi and Jeffrey. He married Cheryl Messenger-Cowden on July 7, 1989 and she brought to the relationship three more children Jarrett, Stacey and Tomi.
Brown was preceded in death by his parents and three nephews: Daniel, Michael and Randall Nolan.
Survived by his loving wife Cheryl, of 32 years, children David Brown, Kristi Zinn and husband Clinton, Jeffrey Brown and wife Cassidy; stepchildren Jarrett Messenger and wife Maria, Stacey Cowden and wife Amber and Tomi Cowden; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two more on the way; sister Jacquelynne and John (Mike) Michael Nolan; as well as other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meadors Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
